The Eligibility Department determines eligibility and manages admissions to housing programs. The SNRHA is a
public agency that provides subsidized housing to low-and-moderate income individuals and families. It
provides the largest stock of affordable housing in Clark County and is one of the nation’s largest public
housing authorities. A resident's rent in the public housing program is subsidized by the federal government
through funding from the Department of Housing and Urban Development. To participate in the public housing
program, applicants must be income eligible and residents must adhere to program rules.
