Affordable Housing Properties The affordable housing program was developed by HUD to provide residents struggling with the current economy with an affordable home in which to reside. The rents are a flat fee and set by the individual community, and do not fluctuate based on income. Our rents are typically between 30-40% below market. Affordable Housing is available to all residents who qualify, and each individual community has different qualifying criteria. Please contact the individual community you are interest in for current rates and availability.


Reata Condos Reata Condos are 2 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom condos approximately 900 sq. feet rent is $475 a month. Covered carport parking, laundry facilities per building, and completely remodeled (new countertops and appliances and new A/C units). We are pet friendly. We pay water, sewer, and trash. Eva-Garcia Mendoza Plaza Eva-Garcia Mendoza Plaza was acquired in 1992 from the Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC). The property is named in honor of former Vice Chairman of the Clark County Housing Authority Eva Garcia-Mendoza. This property consists of large 2 bedroom/2 bath units - over 1100 Sq. Ft. An onsite community center, with a kitchen facility onsite, offers a place to conduct community events such as potlucks and bingo games. In 1984, the Dorothy Kidd Mobile Home Park opened and was named in honor of former Commissioner Dorothy J. Kidd. The convenient East-Side location, east of Nellis on Flamingo Road, is close to shopping centers, banks, bus stops and grocery stores.
