In addition to the online tools and processes we provide, your Property Manager and Assistant Manager are important resources while you are a resident of a SNRHA community. SNRHA’s streamlined processes, leveraging innovative technology platforms, make navigating the affordable housing program easy and efficient. The RentCafe portal is the main platform you will be using to manage your account with SNRHA, including processes such as:

Key Processes to Know

How Rent Payments Work

SNRHA affordable housing residents pay rent on a monthly basis. Rents are typically flat-based between 30-40% below market. At this time rent is paid through the RentCafe Portal, if you have any questions about rent payments, please contact us by calling the management office (see Affordable Housing Communities above) or you may call the main number at (702) 477-3100.

Annual Recertifications

Before your annual recertification is due, you will receive a notice from SNRHA that you will need to submit your Annual Recertification. Please ensure that you login to RentCafe and submit your Annual Recertification online before the due date to continue your eligibility. The recertification occurs annually based on the date you moved into your unit. Your SNRHA Staff will inform you of any changes with 30-days advance notice.

Intent to Move Out

Residents of SNRHA affordable housing communities may notify us of their intent to move out by notifying the management office. We request notice be provided at least 30 days in advance of your move so that we can work with you to determine any pending charges, schedule your move-out inspection and plan to prepare the unit for the next resident. Contact your management office if you intend to move or fill out the vacate notice available on our website and deliver to the management office.

Top 10 things to keep in mind:

Tenants are responsible for the actions and behaviors of family members listed on their lease as well as their guests who are visiting.

Do not place large furniture items in front of windows or doors as those must be clear as emergency exits.

SNRHA will inspect your unit annually. Tenants will be assessed charges for damages beyond normal wear and tear.

Tenants are responsible for maintaining the utilities and monthly rent for their unit.

Families must report income or family composition changes within 10 days of the occurrence. These updates can be submitted through your management office.

If you need supportive services, a resident services coordinator is available to help you. Examples of supportive services include: childcare, job readiness, health and nutrition.

SNRHA encourages each resident to be involved in their community. There are resident councils that host meetings with residents to discuss activities, needs and concerns of SNRHA residents. Your resident services coordinator can assist you with getting connected to your council.

Each month SNRHA meets with its board of commissioners. Clients are invited and welcome to attend these meetings. During these meetings, clients can learn about what is going on at SNRHA and share their feedback. The schedule of meetings can be found on our Bulletin page.

The RentCafe resident portal is a resource available to you 24/7 to check on inspections, make your rent payments and view income/family composition.

Your key contacts are the resident coordinator who is there to help with supportive services, the property manager who assists with management of your unit/community and your housing assistant specialist who is responsible for managing your annual recertification and any interim changes to your household.

How do I pay my rent?

At this time you pay your rent through the RentCafe portal.

How do I access RentCafe?

Typically, difficulty accessing RentCafe is due to a misplaced username and password. It is critically important to remember your login information for RentCafe.

If you have forgotten your password, you may reset it as needed directly on the portal by clicking the “Forgot Password?” link

If you have forgotten your password to access RentCafe, follow these steps:

  • Visit RentCafe.
  • Select "Forgot Password?"
  • Enter your username and click "Submit." You will receive an email.
  • Open the email from "Admin," click "Reset Password" and add your new password. Click on "Change Password."
  • Click "Sign In" and sign in with your new password. Please keep a record of your new password.
